Claire Chewning
Claire is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and the founder of Yours Chewly Nutrition.
As your dietitian, she’s here to listen to your life experiences and offer compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based nutrition care. She’ll support you in finding feel-good, sustainable, and FUN nutrition habits so that you’ll never again have to mutter the phrase “diet starts Monday.” Claire specializes in working with individuals with PCOS, IBS, ADHD, high cholesterol, and disordered eating concerns.
Claire graduated from James Madison University in 2017 with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship in 2018 through The Ohio State University. She started Yours Chewly Nutrition in 2018 as a virtual private practice and has since helped hundreds of individuals make long-lasting changes in their health and relationships with food. Since 2023, she has also served as the Registered Dietitian Advisor for Health-Ade Kombucha, where she educates both employees and consumers on gut health through a non-diet lens. When she’s not meeting with clients, collaborating with her team, or teaching a live event for The Yours Chewly Collective membership, you can find her lost in a fiction book on her Kindle or taking a walk along The Chesapeake Bay.

Sonya Sawyer
Sonya is dedicated to helping clients cultivate a positive and sustainable relationship with food through a non-diet approach to nutrition.
She strives to remove guilt and shame from the eating experience, encouraging curiosity in the kitchen. With a focus on joyful and flexible eating, Sonya empowers her clients to create nourishing meals and snacks with confidence. Sonya loves working with clients who face challenges in meal planning/prep, are looking for creativity in the kitchen, require quick and convenient meal solutions, or are seeking support in improving their overall relationship with food.
Sonya’s deep curiosity in supporting health and well-being through nutrition was sparked after witnessing a close family member navigate a nutrition-related illness. This led her to pursue both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Nutrition at Winthrop University in South Carolina, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. Before becoming a registered dietitian, Sonya served for four years as an active-duty Medic in the U.S. Army. Her military experience played a pivotal role in shaping her compassionate approach to wellness and her ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client.

Erica Langford
Erica is a Registered Dietitian with a BS in Biology and an MS in Human Nutrition, dedicated to helping individuals take control of their health and relationship with food through personalized nutrition education and counseling. She enjoys working with individuals impacted by diet culture, helping them reframe their views on health and nutrition to foster a positive, sustainable relationship with food.
Erica’s approach focuses on providing the tools, knowledge, and accountability needed to achieve realistic goals. Whether helping clients manage chronic conditions or improve their general wellness, she empowers them to make lasting changes. Outside of her work, Erica enjoys painting as a creative outlet and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Anna Ziegler
Anna is a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping people break free from diet culture and feel more at peace with food, movement, and their bodies.
Her approach is rooted in a weight-inclusive, non-diet philosophy and guided by evidence-informed care. Anna believes health and nutrition look different for everyone and works collaboratively with each client to create realistic, sustainable changes. She emphasizes curiosity over judgment, empowering clients to explore what nourishing themselves can look like without rigid rules or guilt. She specializes in eating disorder recovery and disordered eating, and has experience supporting clients with a wide variety of nutrition concerns.
Anna’s path into dietetics began with a deep interest in how food impacts both physical and emotional well-being. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Radford University in 2019 and completed her Dietetic Internship through the University of Maryland in 2021. Since then, she has worked extensively in eating disorder treatment at multiple levels of care, including residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. These experiences, along with her warm and approachable style, shape the client-centered, empowering approach she brings to her work every day.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys being outdoors with her yellow lab, Cedar, tending to her houseplants or exploring new restaurants!

Rachel Kruger
Rachel has a passion for supporting clients in building a peaceful, flexible, and sustainable relationship with food. Her approach is rooted in a non-diet, all-foods-fit philosophy, emphasizing body respect and the belief that health is about so much more than the number on a scale. She strives to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore what nourishes both their body and mind.
She especially loves working with individuals who are navigating eating disorder recovery, and those who are ready to reclaim their health while stepping away from the cycle of dieting and disordered eating.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and her Master’s of Public Health and has spent the past six years specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, supporting clients across all ages and levels of care. Outside of her work, Rachel enjoys gardening, and being active by spending time outdoors with her family.
